I finally finished the fellas dress shirts. WOW it took me forever mainly because I had never done men’s shirts before so it pushed my skill level a bit and the perfectionist in me ended up procrastinating.
It all worked out in the end and my fellas looked great in their shirts. I used Mimi G’s Men’s Simplicity Pattern S8427 for my husband and McCall M6872 Top for my son

Pattern Description: Simplicity Pattern S8427 Men’s fitted shirt with choice of spread or club collar and standard or French cuffs and McCall’s M672 Kids Shirt
Pattern Sizing: Men’s Size 44 Kids I had to alter the size because the pattern was too big.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I opted for the short sleeve but yes it did.
Were the instructions easy to follow? I followed the video for the simplicity pattern and the kids shirt instructions were easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Even though I was intimidated by the patterns they were easy to follow along.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I opted for shorter sleeves because its summer and I didn’t want to deal with plackets and all that stuff LOL
Would you sew it again? Yes definitely, my fellas need more shirts made by me and I need to practice more
